More than two-dozen Middle States teams will drop by Landisville, Pa. this weekend to battle for a USTA League Tennis Section title and a spot in the 2013 National Championships.
Twenty-five teams from five skill divisions (6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, 10.0) will play for the USTA League Tennis Mixed Doubles Section Championships at Hempfield Recreation Center and Amos Herr Park, with matches beginning on Friday, June 7, and running through Sunday, June 9.
When the weekend comes to a close, the top-ranking team in each division will advance to the national tournament in Tuscon, Ariz., in November. The winner of the national tournament will be crowned USTA League Tennis National Champions.
USTA League Tennis is the country’s largest recreational tennis league, helping more than 800,000 participants nationwide get on the court, have a good time, and step up their game. It encompasses players of all ages and skill level, and along with great competition, offers camaraderie and a unique and enjoyable social experience.
