Villanova Takes Title at TOC Section Championship

Eight years removed from their last Tennis On Campus Section Title, the Wildcats are back.

For Blog postVillanova took the title at the Tennis On Campus Middle States tournament over the weekend at Lehigh University by holding off Penn State, which had won six of the last seven Middle States championships. Both teams advance to USTA Tennis On Campus National Championships, which take place in April 2014 in Surprise, Ariz. Penn and Delaware also earned spots in the national championship, and will represent Middle States against other club teams from around the country.

The Middle States championship featured feature 215 players from 17 schools. It was the highest participation is the event’s history.
