Spring is here, and in USTA Middle States that means one thing:
It’s time for some tennis.
A special focus will be placed on families playing and staying active together.
Anyone who has an interest in trying tennis for the first time, returning to the game or simply learning more about the sport will have the chance to experience the game in a fun, friendly way. They’ll also learn about local play opportunities in their area. Family Fun Day runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will feature giveaways, prizes, contests, games and more.
There will be all types of sports activities to enjoy on the courts and the grass fields in the park.
The Middle States Free Family Fun Day will begin after a morning 3k run hosted by iRun4Life, Inc. iRun4Life is a non-profit organization with a mission to help combat childhood obesity by establishing fun, noncompetitive running programs for boys and girls in elementary schools. Its focus is to teach children about exercise, healthy nutrition and giving back to the community in the form of good deeds.
