Industry leaders from Middle States and beyond will gather April 22-23 with one thing in mind: growing tennis.
The USTA Middle States Community Tennis Development Workshop (CTDW) will bring together tennis teachers, organizers, managers and more to network and participate in interactive, educational sessions. Topics covered include engaging communities, youth progression, marketing and fundraising, among others.
The event kicks off Friday, April 22 with an on-court tennis social and reception at Gulph Mills Tennis Club. The CTDW then moves inside to the DoubleTree Philadelphia-Valley Forge on Saturday for workshops aimed at growing tennis programs and expanding the game. The sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
PTR and USPTA members can take advantage of continuing education credits, with USPTA offering 2.5 credits for the workshop, and PTR awarding six MAP hours for attending.
Discounts are available for those who register early. Those who register before March 14 receive $5 off the $40 charge. Those from out of town can also take advantage of a discounted rate at the DoubleTree Philadelphia-Valley Forge by mentioning USTA Middle States and booking a room by March 14.
