The 22-year-old Pittsburgh native is blogging for the USTA about his tennis experiences. His most recent post touches on training and his experience at the BNP Paribas Open, where he’s playing in the main draw this week.

Fratangelo has had quite the ride over the last few years. He turned pro in 2012 and has won nine USTA Pro Circuit and ITF-level singles titles. He appeared in the US Open main draw for the first time last year and piled up ranking points at pro events around the world, nearly cracking the top-100 in the world rankings.
Fratangelo started 2016 with an appearance at the Australian Open and is now competing in the main draw at the Indian Wells in the BNP Paribas Open.
