The 2016 Central Pennsylvania District Awards Ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 30 at Heritage Hills Country Club in York, Pa. The ceremony begins at 1 p.m. At the ceremony, Section and District award recipients will be honored for their accomplishments and contributions to tennis in Middle States in 2016. The list of award recipients is below.
USTA Middle States awards annually recognize tennis leaders in 16 categories from across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Each USTA Middle States district, including Central Pennsylvania (CPD), hosts a local awards ceremony to further honor those who help grow the game.
“These awardees represent the very best in our tennis community,” said USTA Middle States Executive Director Marlynn Orlando. “They are our tennis heroes who dedicate themselves to growing this great game and delivering tennis on every level, in a wide range of communities across the Middle States Section.”
Award recipients were chosen through a representation of USTA Middle States volunteers and staff, working together to compile nominations from each of the six Middle States districts. Local councils determine the district award recipients.
