It’s not often that one of the world’s best tennis players rolls through town. But that’s exactly what’s happening this week.
The Philadelphia Freedoms’ 2014 season kicked off last week on the road, and it continues at the Villanova University Pavilion this week when Victoria Azarenka and the Freedoms take on the San Diego Aviators at 7 p.m.
Prior to each match, USTA Middle States will have a table set up where fans can enter to win a US Open prize pack and share their #Love2Play Tennis stories.
Other players making appearances at Villanova over the next two weeks include Venus Williams and Andy Roddick. Below is a schedule of home matches this season as well as an overview of some the exciting events taking place at the Pavilion.
Tuesday, July 15- vs. San Diego Aviators
In the first home match of the season, the Freedoms will feature two-time Grand Slam champion Victoria Azarenka.
