Two New Staff Members – USTA Middle States

Amy Filippone will be joining the USTA Middle States as the Area League Coordinator for New Jersey.  Amy has some amazing experience in local tennis, both working in the industry and competing as a player.  She has been an avid USTA League Tennis player and captain throughout New Jersey for the last 10 years, working with a multitude of teams and levels.
Recently, Amy worked in part-time roles at Moorestown Tennis Club and at the Moorestown Parks and Recreation Department.  At the tennis club, she managed court bookings and USTA play, while also organizing social events.  Through the Parks and Recreation Department, she writes weekly content and oversees youth sports leagues.
Amy also has a variety of marketing and retail experience.  She will be a great addition to our team.

Evan Schreiner will be joining the USTA Middle States as Net Generation/Community Tennis Coordinator.  Evan’s tennis career has impacted both the community and player development areas.  He is an experienced coach at the junior and collegiate levels, with multiple coaching certifications and accomplishments.

Evan recently led a revival of a volunteer-based CTA in Brevard, North Carolina.  There, he worked closely with Net Generation, Schools Tennis, Junior Team Tennis, and USTA Tournaments.  He was a member of the local North Carolina Schools Committee, where he worked to bring tennis opportunities into the school system.  Evan has a wide range of experience that will fit very well into this role.
